Epworth exist to inspire in its congregation and worshipers a passion for Jesus, and a personal commitment to a life of integrity and Bible excellence.
Jesus said, "For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them." There is a joy, reverence and vibrancy in Epworth which provides Spirit-filled gladness and simplicity of heart.
Just as something wonderful happens when God's people get together and study His Word, something extraordinary happens when God's people get together and sing His praises.
We engage our surrounding communities and faith-based audience in an active, non-intrusive conversation about the Christian value-add of Epworth UMC.
Our approach takes advantage of a series of Partnerships with both faith-based, governmental, and corporate entities to design and execute a spectrum of programs focused on uplifting the communities.
Epworth is a friendly place that is both Welcoming and Accessible to Christians and non-Christians alike. We hope to provide with the opportunity engage with us and and allow God to meet them wherever they are on their Spiritual Journey.
"Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age." Matthew 28:19-20
Investing in today's youth is necessary in growing the body of Christ. Teaching young people in the church to grow in their relationship with the Lord prepares them to serve Christ in all they do. Our youth and young adults enjoy a haven that provides peace, space for reflection and solitude, where the Holy Spirit can speak to them.
We are committed to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all young people and always seek to do so with urgency, using the most culturally acceptable means. We are further committed to provide a ministry of discipleship for each new believer, and to work in partnership with others who desire to accomplish the same mission.
